Random query on a news-free day…

I know (or think I do) that John Stockton Drive and Karl Malone Drive meet at EnergySolutions Arena; today it occurred to me to wonder if they deliberately made “John Stockton Drive” 300 West and “Karl Malone Drive” 100 South because John is from Washington and Karl is from Louisiana…

*shrug*

As far as I’m concerned, they can block off all four sides of the arena and rename it “Jerry Sloan Plaza.”
