Today’s Opponent Game Thread host: Bright Side of the Sun.

We tend to play our worst games ever in Utah
So don’t be surprised if this is one of our worst performances of the season. To top it off I have to listen to the Jazz broadcast! Can’t wait!

by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 6:39 PM

Rudy tends to dominate us
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:12 PM

I legit ask myself how i watch this team every single game
by desertfulloffiya on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:24 PM

You are not the only one lol
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:24 PM

Well, we suck…
by Yomero Mismo on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:28 PM

We can’t defend anybody
by Yomero Mismo on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:44 PM

These Jazz announcers are making this game experience 10x worse
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:52 PM

Utah’s offense is not great, their coach (Quin Snyder) plays too much by the book.
Last year they leaded the league in passes per game but were at the bottom for assists.

by Portuguese Barbosa on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:57 PM

They’re going to make the playoffs this year however
So something seems to be working

by rtvanharen on Dec 6, 2016 | 7:57 PM

Their defense. It always worked. And their one of the teams that really pushed for the Playoffs in the West this year.
Boris Diaw, George Hill, Joe Johnson, Shelvin Mack (last year signing).
If i was an Utah fan, i honestly prefer some other coach that played in other tempo and gave more minutes to their youth in Trey Lyles and Dante Exum.

loll this is bad
by nathdory on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:13 PM

Hey looks like the wolves has the same records as us
well… at least the wolves are not improving too

by Outsiders on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:13 PM

Dear Earl Watson;
Fucking quit playing Alex Len with Dragan Bender. Quit playing Marquese Chriss with Tyson Chandler. YOU GOT TWO BIG MEN IN THE DRAFT THAT LIKE PLAYING TOGETHER. YOU DON’T PLAY THEM TOGETHER BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT THINKING CORRECTLY. Trade one of our THREE GUARDS THAT DO THE SAME THING. USE DEVIN BOOKER LIKE HE SHOULD BE USED AND GIVE HIM THE BALL. He actually plays basketball. He actually uhm, simulates and stimulates offense when he has the ball in his hands. Though I believe at this point it needs to be said in a more direct way. STOP-PLAYING-BLEDSOE-AT-POINT-GUARD.FOREVER. He’s a great player. He’s a fucking donkey show of a point guard. Side note: THAT WILL NOT CHANGE. Further on Bender and Len: If you’re going to play Bender at the 3, THAT’S FINE. Don’t, however, further complicate that ALREADY complicated situation of working on culturing a 7 foot three spot out there by putting ANOTHER 7 foot “traditional center” alongside him. That is beyond insane and confusing for both players. In every single way it is a DETRIMENT to both of them. If Bender’s at the 3, if you’re going to put in another 7 footer, for god sakes, make it Tyson. Tyson Chandler has won a championship, been on team USA and completely understands his role, as does everyone else on the team, as is his entire point to direct the young players as advertised when we got him. So stop it. Absolutely stop that. Though if you continue practicing insanity, if you absolutely continue to insist, than please heed this only bit of advice. GIVE DEVIN BOOKER THE BALL AND GIVE HIM THE KEYS ALREADY. Thanks.

It’s easier to just .. fire him. lol
by Portuguese Barbosa on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:23 PM

Ingles looks like a clown guarding Booker.
by 8thseedbetterthanchampionship on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:31 PM

Well the Suns are reciprocating that guarding Hayward.
by 3 2 1 For 3 on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:31 PM

How long is Earl’s contract?
by SunsFan@TheOffice on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:46 PM

What do you guys think about our chances of getting Gordon Heyward in free agency?
If you combine Heyward with the Wall/Cousins dream, then thats scary, damn.

by Dragan Nkemdiche on Dec 6, 2016 | 8:58 PM

If he likes less money and less winning we’re a chance.
by 8thseedbetterthanchampionship on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:00 PM

Dante Exum is a bust
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:03 PM

Boris Diaw has twice as many assists as our whole starting lineup combined.
by Dragan Nkemdiche on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:09 PM

I take off my socks, look back up, and we are somehow within 6
by Dragan Nkemdiche on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:13 PM

Now you know what i said earlier about Quin Snyder.
He’s just a lucky guy on the right job at the right time.
This Utah team has way too much talent to play like they play. Their individual defense gives them wins, his coach not so much.

by Portuguese Barbosa on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:18 PM

Gotta wait till the Jazz get their lead back to actually make subs huh
by 3 2 1 For 3 on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:24 PM

GOD DANG EARL WHEN WILL YOU LEARN
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:24 PM

by rtvanharen on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:24 PM

OH MY LORD HE DIDNT SUB
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:25 PM

LMAO he keeps the same lineup in
by 3 2 1 For 3 on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:25 PM

by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:27 PM

Watson makes mistakes that common fans just know
by GuarGuar on Dec 6, 2016 | 9:28 PM

It is so weird that Suns fans think Quin is a bad coach. “They have too much talent to play the way they play.” The Jazz are clowning people when they have even 75% of their rotation players healthy, but when they trot out a combination of Exum, Johnson, Lyles, Withey, Ingles, and Neto, it’s expected that the Jazz lead is going to shrink. I love Quin. He seems to be very intentional about teaching good habits. Season 1 focused on defense. Season 2 he added ball movement. Now I feel like we are seeing the benefit this year as our offensive efficiency even with injuries has jumped from 17th to 6th in the league while maintaining good defensive efficiency.

I think this might be the first time I’ve seen criticism of Quin, anywhere.

Thoughts?
