Watch this (again) for the chills. What a complete stroke of genius it was to have Jerry Sloan narrate the video.

Two. Raul Neto, asked who was the first NBA player he ever met: It was [Leandro] Barbosa, but he wasn’t NBA player yet, because he played with my dad when he was 19 years old. Yeah, my dad was the first point guard and he was the second point guard.

Three. Quin Snyder on Derrick Favors’ performance in the first two games: He’s just had a real focus, you know, and I think he’s, there’s a determination right now that he’s playing with on both ends of the floor. And you can just see it. He’s getting the ball deeper, and he’s just not, he’s not content. He seems like, every possession in some way, he wants more.

Four. Joe Ingles on his part-time long-distance marriage: It’s kind of the perfect marriage. You get married and don’t have to see her. …

Yeah, and it’s an interesting life and obviously not ideal. I’d love to have her with me for the whole season, but it is what it is, and it’s not gonna be forever, and yeah. She’s a great, great girl. I’m actually looking at my wedding ring ni–right now. It’s kind of romantic that I’m doing that, isn’t it?

Five. Rudy Gobert, asked whether he trash-talked Ian Mahinmi in English or French after blocking his shot: Both.

Six. Poll: Which of these players does the guy in charge of picking photos for the graphics dislike the most?

Seven. Craig Bolerjack and Matt Harpring’s hard-hitting, in-game analysis of Raul Neto:
Harpring: I’m just gonna go ahead and say it. He’s a good-looking guy. I mean, he is a good-looking kid.

Bolerjack: In more ways than one? Is that what you’re trying to tell–

Harpring: Well, I’m just saying. I state the obvious. He’s a good point guard and good basketball player. Good-looking kid. You’re stunned.

Bolerjack: I’m stunned. But you know what though, it, what’s amazing? You are comfortable in your own skin.

Harpring: Absolutely.

Bolerjack: I am too. And you know what, he is a good-looking kid.

Harpring: Thank you.

Bolerjack: From Brazil. He wears No. 25, and I guarantee you, is gonna be the hottest sell–the hottest jersey item in Salt Lake sooner than later…Among females, most likely, yes.

Eight. Trey Lyles’ parents at the Detroit game:

Nine. Craig Bolerjack to Derrick Favors, Unintentional Dirty Quote Machine: Did you hold your breath a bit when Neto went down?

Ten. Finally…remember the good ol’ days when we all waited with bated breath for the team’s Halloween pics?

P.S. Greg Ostertag’s son is his spitting image. Think he’s got some of Tag’s personality, too (via @otag00):

Why no Ty Corbin in that picture of the Utah Jazz coaching tree? Has he been written out of Jazz history?

Is that really his son? That looks identical to Greg.

      Yup! Greg posted the pic.

Wow. I wonder if it is a Jengo Fett/Boba Fett type situation where Greg cloned himself. His son looks exactly like dad.

Thoughts?
