Post-Game Quotage
** Quin Snyder on the game
I felt like we were a little sluggish at the beginning of the game, and I was really pleased with, there was a — you know, about four minutes left in the second quarter, I thought we started to kinda pick it up a little bit. And we were awfully quiet early on, and our defense kinda got us going, especially in the third quarter, and it was good to see. I was pleased with our effort.
** Snyder on the slow start
We were on a plane, as you know, for about five, six hours yesterday. Normally, we shoot the day of the game. We decided not to this morning with the weather, and also a little longer to get here, and just, I was concerned about our energy and our legs. And we found, you know, we found a little of that when we needed it, but it took us a while.

** Gordon Hayward on the game
Yeah, it was a tough game for us. It was a grind-out game, for sure…Especially with the travel we had, being on the plane, and the weather and everything, so. It was good that we finally fought through it. You know, we didn’t start out too hot, but we fought through some adversity. We played goo–really well in the second half. Defense was still strong, even though we gave up, like, what was it, three 3s at end? I mean, so, 83 points is pretty good, and just a all-around good win for us.
** Derrick Favors on the game
You know, the first half, you know, it was a tough first half for us. You know, shots wasn’t falling. You know, we wasn’t communicating like we, you know, like we usually do on the defensive end. In the second half, you know, we came together. We talked, and you know, we stayed with it, and you know, we came out in the second half, played like a different team. Played like we really wanted to win the game, grind the whole game and got the win. … When it get down to the fourth quarter, you know, everybody buying in the way Quin want us to d–coach Quin want us to do.
** Favors on facing the Nets next
It really don’t matter to me no more. You know, I was in my rookie year. You know, they traded me. I’m with Utah now. So, it really don’t bother me no more.
Craig Bolerjack: Home is SLC.
Favors: Yeah, home is Salt Lake and Atlanta.
** Rudy Gobert on the game
That was a kind of a fighting game…I think we took time to really be, get focused on defense, and we got focused really in the second quarter. We start communicating better, and we start just playing our game…[Earlier in the game,] we weren’t communicating. They were getting everything they wanted, and we turned it up in the second quarter, and we got back to our defense and playing our game.

** Matt Harpring: I just feel like the Jazz are ready to come and explode on the Sixers. You’re just waiting for it. (H/T @panachemustache and @JazzJargon)
** Craig Bolerjack: Hood goes inside. He’s slapped across the wrist.
** Harpring on Nerlens Noel dunk and hanging on the rim: Noel slipped one in on him, and Gobert gets caught.
Boler: He can’t ride the rim like that. And Rudy didn’t like it.
** Boler to Rudy Gobert, post-game: Rudy, talk about tonight. Boy, I tell ya, grind. Grind, grind, all night long.
** Boler to Gobert, post-game: What’s the process for you when you see a ball? Because so many come your way. And I mean, I understand your size, but in your mind, do you just take on the thought of everything coming your way is gonna belong to Rudy Gobert?
** Boler, asking Gobert about his elbow: I saw you rubbing it.
