Post-Game Quotage
** Quin Snyder, post-game
I thought we played, you know, we played a good game and did a good job against, you know, a very, very good team…I think we feel like a team when we’re playing, and the ball’s finding open people. And you know, a lotta guys, you know, made [big] shots…I thought we defended very well.
** Snyder, asked about Rudy Gobert’s defense on LaMarcus Aldridge on the perimeter
He did a good job. I mean, that was why we played [Gobert] on [Aldridge] in the beginning of the second half. We thought that was a match-up that was — you know, no match-up’s perfect against LaMarcus Aldridge. He’s such a good player…And I think Rudy’s length, at least, you know, he’s a little bit more of a factor than — you know, there’s not too many guys that can contest [Aldridge’s] shot.
Do you see Gobert doing more of that?
Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, Enes [Kanter] came in and played great in the second half, and you know, I’ve pretty much — this is a recurring theme that we’re gonna play match-ups, and, yeah, I expect Rudy to do more of that. And I think that’s one of his strengths, and we feel like — maybe it’s new for him a little bit to be on, you know, a guy that’s considered a “four.” But because of his height and length, it made some sense.

** Gordon Hayward, post-game
Yeah, we competed. I think that’s for sure. Too many turnovers there in that third quarter. I thought we fought the entire game. We persevered there in the end. You know, Rudy did a great job on LaMarcus in the second half. But like I said, man, missed free throws — you know, I missed way too many, and just, you know, a little bit more here or there, and we would’ve come out with a win.
** Hayward on Trey Burke moving to the bench
It’s not a demotion. We talked about that. It’s just, kind of when he gets to play and when he can pick his spots and he can be more aggressive there in the second unit, and really lead that group for us. And he’s done a great job, and I think he’s taken it really well.
** Rudy Gobert, asked if he thinks he’ll be defending more on the perimeter in the future
Of course, especially on superstars like Aldridge. You know, we need somebody to stop him, and coach put me on him. So, that’s great.

** Craig Bolerjack at tip-off: Lopez with that right hand wrapped, as Ingles grabs the tip, and we’re underway.
** Matt Harpring: Everything is low on Batum, mainly because of that wrist. (H/T @5kl)
** Boler on a loose ball bouncing their way: I wanted that ball.
Harpring: You’re just a little short.
Boler: You got me by five inches, I’d guess.
** Boler on Gordon Hayward’s young wife point total: Bang, there she goes, 18 for Hayward.
** Harpring: That’s a great move by Trey Burke. Between the legs, to get Millsap open.
** Boler, unable to decide whether to say “break” or “rest”: And Favs will take a breast.
** Boler calling the Play of the Game : Behind the back, Hayward inside, and Favors the finish.

I like how Bolerjack says they have been talking about the Bench Burrito all season, yet, this is the first I’ve ever heard of that term and I watch almost every game.

@russellkanning “oh no it’s losing its power” is exactly what I thought too lol

@Kashif They used that term, like, once last season. Somehow they found it worth bringing back.

Thoughts?
