Win streak. It’s aliiiiiive!

Pre-Game Quotage
** Trey Burke, asked how Quin Snyder is doing as a coach
He’s doing great, man. Obviously, it’s his first year as a coach, and you may not see it, you know, from a fan’s view, but he’s definitely, he’s keeping us accountable. He’s on us hard every single day, and making us work. So that’s all you can ask for, you know?
** Burke on Tyrone Corbin being named Kings interim head coach
That’s good for him, man. You know, I think, that’s something that, you know, I really won’t speak on a lot, but you know, I think he’s a gr–he’s a good enough coach to be a head coach. You know, obviously, you know, he got let go from here last year, but you know, now that he’s the head coach of Sacramento, you know, I wish him the best. (The Trey Burke Show; 1320)

Post-Game Quotage
** Quin Snyder, post-game
No one gave us anything tonight. I thought, you know, Gordon [Hayward] had a terrific second half. Everybody defended. You know, Enes [Kanter] did a great job defensively on some perimeter players, and I thought everyone together–it’s really, it was, as they say, a team effort. … [Derrick Favors] protected the rim so well. And Rudy [Gobert] did it also when he came in the game. And especially in the second half, Derrick being willing to come across the lane and leave his own man to give support, and we’re getting better at helping each other.
** Snyder on learning through experience
One of my favorite plays all night was when Trey Burke came up off of, you know, Gordon had the ball in pick and roll, and Trey slipped out. And he missed, but you know, him being able to do that and make that read. And then Derrick hit a couple really big pull-up jump shots, you know, by facing up when they dropped off him, and you know, we have confidence in him making that shot.

** Derrick Favors on the Jazz’s defensive effort tonight
That’s something we talked about as a team in meetings, in practice. You know, we just want to be a better defensive team. You know, we thought we were giving guys too many easy baskets in the paint, in transition, so you know, we came together as a team to say, you know, we just gon start taking it personal, playing man to man, guarding guys and making guys take tough shots. If they hit it, they hit it, but you know, we want to be a tough defensive team, especially in the fourth quarter.
** Favors on the Jazz’s next game
Charlotte’s a good team…Big Al [Jefferson], you know, he got all the post moves in the world. So you know, we gon come out there, continue to play as a team, try to improve on the defensive end, try to improve on offensive end, and try to get another win.
** Gordon Hayward on Jazz players’ improved understanding of rotations
There’s still a lotta room for improvement and we still have breakdowns, but I think for the most part, the communication’s getting a hell of a lot better. Guys are helping each other out, and that’s what coach talking about. We gotta be able to have each other’s backs so we can trust each other.
** Rodney Hood on practices/shootarounds transferring to the floor
That’s the biggest thing, is carryover. You know, coach been preaching carryover, and you know we just been playing hard. I mean, competing. You know, we not worried about where we’re supposed to be on the court and all that. We just competing, and doing that for every single night…To have carryover, see that at work, you know, it only brings confidence with us as players.

Random Stuff, etc.
** People calling Alec Burks “Alec Burke”: Craig Bolerjack
** People competely butchering Nikola Vucevic’s name without a thought to glancing at their readily available pronunciation guide: Craig Bolerjack and Matt Harpring
** This is possibly bigger than the Jazz’s win streak, and yes, it’s real (H/T @DJJazzyJody):

** Matt Harpring: That’s how you go aggressive to the hole. (H/T @edwin_nba)
** Craig Boler on Trey Burke losing a shoe: He blew a tire. He got a bicycle pump?
** Boler, after Harpring reveals Boler said off-air he could beat Bubba Watson: Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag.
** Boler on Channing Frye miss: Kanter got there just in time to put a hand in his face.
** Boler to Gordon Hayward, post-game: You start slow…but then you find your own rhythm. And then you came again, for the second straight game.
** Boler to Hayward, post-game: Is it good to play again tomorrow night, when it’s feeling good?
** Hayward on the Jazz’s next game: It’s always fun going up against Big Al. You know, and I told Turk [Enes Kanter], if he can’t can’t get up for this game, I don’t know what game he can get up for.
