Game 75 of 82: Utah Jazz vs. New York Knicks (23-52)
** Sidney Lowe at halftime
Unfortunately, they play small. So, we’re not accustomed to playing small. But you know, I thought our guys did a nice job matching up.
** Tyrone Corbin on the third quarter
Missed shots. You know, we, you know, we were right there…They went on a, I think it was a 12-2 run to finish that quarter, and that’s, you know, that’s the difference in the game. And they got, you know, six or eight free throws in that stretch, and we turned the ball over a few times. And you know, we, it’s happened to us last few games. We hit that little lull, and we just can’t score, and it’s the difference in the game for us. So, it happened again tonight. We just gotta keep fighting and try and get better.
** Corbin, asked how Marvin Williams did defending Carmelo Anthony
Made him work. I mean, that’s all you can really axe from a guy like him.
** Corbin, asked what he can do to improve the offense
Well, it’s where we are, you know? Before Friday? We gotta go, just keep working…We are who we are for now, so I mean, we have to work with what we have.
** Gordon Hayward, asked what was the biggest problem in the third quarter
Execution offensively. For whatever reason, we didn’t figure out the way they were guarding all our plays. And too many turnovers, so.
** Trey Burke on the game
Tonight, it felt like we had another opportunity to win the game. You know, I didn’t have my best game, personally, and we didn’t play as good as a team, so, or as good as we know we can as a team, and then coming off the loss to Oklahoma City yesterday, you know, it’s frustrating. It definitely is, but we gotta persevere through this time.
** Marvin Williams on “growing pains”
We’re super young. You know, we’re super, super young, and any time you go really young like that, you’re gonna have some growing pains. And that’s exactly what you call ’em. I think guys are really excited about the progress that we’ve made, you know, each month, throughout the season.

** Harpring on Favors’ foul trouble: Kanter is going to have to come in, and Chandler has great length. (H/T @Mark_R_Pereira)
