Pre-season Game 2 of 8: Utah Jazz vs. Portland Trail Blazers (1-1)

October 12, 2013

lp lies

According to unconfirmable sources, the Jazz lost to the Trail Blazers.

Post-Game Quotage
** Enes Kanter: Tonight, I think, to me, I played bad…I just need to be more focused and just, you know, not be, not confuse out there.
** Jeremy Evans on defending LaMarcus Aldridge: He knocked down a couple jumpers, and after that it, you know, crushed me mentally.
** Trey Burke: Portland, they executed better than us on both ends of the court. And you know, we knew coming in at halftime that we were scoring on offense, but we weren’t getting stops.
** Burke on expectations: It’s all a learning experience, you know? I know everybody wants to, these expectations for me this early on, but I’m just gon continue to, you know, try not to live up to ’em. You know, obviously try to live up to ’em, but not, you know, press to live up to ’em. You know, just play my game, man, go out there and help this team win.

the team was clearly not prepared. They looked lost and confused. They had no idea what they were doing out there.
The desire was there but they were lost.

Remind me again, whose job is it to make sure that their team is mentally and physically prepared for a game? It seems like this has been happening reliably for the past two and a half seasons. What could we change to remedy this? :P #firecorbin
