Game 63 Jazz at Knicks: 0-4 Road Trip

March 10, 2013

Post-Game Quotage
** Tyrone Corbin, post-game mix tape: We still have a lot of good basketball left in us…It wasn’t one of our best efforts…You know, it’s not over for us. We’ll be back…You try to find ways to continue to motivate them, and we just couldn’t get over the hump tonight…Tonight wasn’t one of our better games…We got a lot of games left, and we can get our way back in, and make them play however we want to play and win games, and so we’re gonna continue to fight.
** Gordon Hayward: I think we need to trust each other more, both offensively and defensively, and we gotta be able to use all the talent that we have.

Random Stuff, etc.
** People calling Alec Burks “Alec Burk……s”: Craig Bolerjack.
** The Jazz’s backcourt was outscored by 116 points during this road trip.
** Kurt Thomas and Tyrone Corbin were teammates in Miami once upon a time.
** Earl Watson and J.R. Smith are both named “Earl Joseph” after their dads, Earl Joseph and Earl Joseph Jr., respectively. Derrick Favors and Raymond Felton have the same middle name: Bernard. You can’t make this stuff up. And if you could, well, why would you?

Unintentional Dirty Quote Machines of the Night (UDQM)
** Boler: Shumpert penetrates, rejected.
** Boler on the Knicks: They’ve hurt the Jazz outside and in.
** Harpring: When you allow players to get so deep, it puts pressure on you.

Tyron doesn’t care. That gif shows it and the cameras show it. Usually when a camera is on him you see him walking or just standing with his hands in his pockets with the dumb blank expression on his face and really, just not caring, then he sees the camera and he puts his head down like he’s sad or disappointed. Dude’s a joke.

Always cracks me up when Boler says “Ty Corbin is hopping mad” or “Ty Corbin is really upset and it’s written all over his face” and the camera shows Ty and he’s just standing or sitting there staring blankly ahead.
