Quotage
** Mo Williams, post-game: If I see something, I’m gonna try and relay it as much as I can…You see everything from a coach’s view when you not playing, and I can see more things when I’m not playing, so I can help more people…I’m able to help in a lot more different areas. You know, I’m seeing a lot more stuff.
** Tyrone Corbin on Alec Burks, post-game: Nothing against DeMarre, I thought we needed some scoring at that point. That’s why I decided to go with Alec.
OK, so when DON’T we need scoring?
Random Stuff, etc.
** People still calling Alec Burks “Alex”: Matt Harpring.
** I don’t ever want to hear “the guys are beat up,” “the guys have tired legs,” “it’s fatigue.” The Jazz have played four games in eight days and their travel last night consisted of a flight from Miami to Orlando.
** A possibly drunk Matt Harpring (video via @saltcityhoops):
Unintentional Dirty Quote Machines of the Night (UDQM)
** Harpring: We have not seen that all year, a guy who rubs off a screen hard.
** Harpring on Millsap: He’s got a nice stroke. If he can extend himself out to the three-point line…
** Boler on Afflalo: Jacque Vaughn is riding him.
** Harpring on Favors: I like how he took the ball with two hands.
** Harpring: Burks gets on his hip and rides him.
** Harpring: Millsap gave one to Big Al, now Big Al gives one to Millsap.
** Mo Williams on his injury: It’s a tough blow for myself. (H/T @Mac_Jazz)
** Harpring: Yeah there’s some growing pains for Favors. He has trouble finishing sometimes.
** Harpring: That was the second rub the Jazz have had.
** Harpring: If you rub off the right way, it’s gonna open up another player. (H/T @seanp33, @JazzmanJoey, @dianaallen)
A solid candidate for the post of the year.
Thanks! :)
I thought missed the first free throw.
Insert “Ayon” missed the first free throw.
Oops. Thanks Bob for the correction.
Man those first four gifs are depressing…
We don’t need scoring when Burks plays with 10% of the energy DeMarre has, possibly with a worse jumper. Totally different attitude by him last night. I hope he keeps it up.
On another note, merry christmas, folks! :)
Best sum up of the end of the game ever!!
I wonder about Ty’s basketball IQ…
Merry Christmas, everyone!
