Summer League Game 1: Jazz “at” Pistons
1) The game had three lead changes. The Jazz led by nine at the half. They were outscored 32-11 in the third quarter and ended up losing the game. See Sidney Lowe below (lowe, lowe, lowe).
2) Per Steve Luhm, the Magic are eyeing Jeff Hornacek for their coaching vacancy. See Horny below.
Highlights:
Stockton for 3!!! (He looks so much like dad on the court–not just physically, but the way he moves–that it made me feel incredibly nostalgic. This was especially the case if you were watching a not-very-bright-and-slightly-blurry stream like me. Even without my rose-colored glasses on, I can say that the only time the Jazz offense looked good was when Michael Stockton was running the show.)
Enes Kanter with the rejection.
And Enes again with his patented up-and-under.
