Game 47 at SAC: @#$#@^@#$%…oh, er, win!

March 23, 2012

The first 47:30 of this game was so regressive and giant-leap-backwardsy for the players and coaching staff that I am going to forget it ever happened*…

* Derrick Favors is exempt from this statement.

…and only remember this:

So, yay, we won.

P.S. Did anyone else notice that on the play above, Earl was holding onto Jamaal and Enes was clutching Earl and Jamaal? (I am going to stop typing now before a squealy “soooo cute” comes out of my keyboard. Oops, too late.)

In keeping with the theme of the past few days, do yourself a favor and watch @shandonfan’s wonderful Paul Millsap-Al Jefferson bromance video:

Random Stuff, etc.
** Shades of Othyus!

** Good luck in Indiana, Fes! We/I still love you!

** Loved these quotes from Big Al:

Unintentional Dirty Quote Machines of the Night (UDQM)
** Corbin on Jazz’s defense: The guy on the ball has been up on the guy. The big guys have been up and aggressive on the come-ups.
** Randy Rigby on Kanter: Young man who loves to put a body on players. Watching him against Andrew Bynum, I was extremely impressed of how he liked to hold his own…I’m very happy with the job that Kevin did.
** Boler: Big Al trying to rumble inside.
** Boler: Tinsley has the ball stripped, ball’s still loose.
** Boler: Hayward with good position on Evans.
** Boler: Short, put it up, short, put it up again, short.
** Boler: Tinsley penetrated, Favors went with him.

Jeff Hornecek’s reaction to “the hug” is hilarious. “Yeah! Wait… what?”

Much joy! Pure joy! Thank you.

Side note: Loved the video. Can you imagine the babies Milli and Al would have? They are beautiful players but scary men!
