Game 28 at OKC: #WCDDS

In a nutshell: The Jazz served themselves up on a platter to the Thunder for Valentine’s Day. Raja Bell was against the idea, but was outvoted by the rest of the Jazz.
The night wasn’t a total loss, however. As @shandonfan pointed out, we saw the birth of something priceless.
First we had Fes’ “Let’s play the basketball.” Then we had the Mailman’s “unbelievable function.” Now we have Raja Bell’s “We consistently do dumb shit.” Epic.
I’ve always loved the fight in Raja Bell. Many of his teammates could use some of his fire. More Raja:
Here’s that moment:
(The “F***!” is at the :10 mark and you can hear him slam the scorer’s table (and then see his legs walking away) at the :23 mark.)
The Jazz are now sitting not pretty at .500 on the season. Did I mention they started the game 1-16 from the field?
All right, on to more pressing matters. Why are all of Tyrone’s pants so big?
** Devin Harris, post-game [on back-to-back-to-back and fatigue]: It wasn’t too bad. The stuff we’ve been doing off the court has really been helping. We missed some shots, but I don’t think it was because our legs were tired. (2)
** Gordon Hayward, post-game: I’m not gonna blame it on fatigue. It’s just not acceptable whatever the reason (for the loss) was. (2)
** Ty Corbin, post-game: Third night of a back-to-back…We used to playing a back-to-back, but a back-to-back-to-back is new for these guys, man. They all looked tired. We just have to figure out where we at and get some rest tomorrow…We just ran out of gas, man. (2)
** Raja Bell: I don’t know that we know who we are as a team.
** Paul Millsap: We’ve got to figure out what the problem is, first. Obviously we don’t know what the problem is, so we’ve just got to figure that out.
** Ty Corbin: Everybody is a little tired and we ran out of gas. They are a good ballclub. We are OK and we will be ready to go. We will get ourselves back together, get some rest and we will be fine. (Trib)
Random Stuff, etc.
** Tonight’s point guard opponent:
** What do you do when someone that asks not to be credited sends you something, and you kind of want to post it, but maybe you shouldn’t? This is, I believe, from the post-game of the New Orleans game. One Jazz beat writer has a habit of talking with his hands, which created this…awkward…moment. Click or don’t click; up to you.
** Somewhere in our youths, or childhoods…we must’ve done something good to deserve Earl Watson:
Unintentional Dirty Quote Machines of the Night (UDQM)
** Harpring on Westbrook: How much quickness can a guy have?
** Boler: Harden, just having his way. That left hand is deadly.
** Ty Corbin: He can bang guys on the defensive end…wear the big guy out from being physical, keeping his hands on him the whole time. (H/T G Note)
** Boler on Al: Double pump, push shot good.
