David Stern commits blasphemy
Disclaimer: I am not some overreacting Jazz fan in this instance.
WTF. Just WTF, ok? For the commissioner to say this, even as a joke, is in such poor taste. Especially when his concern (and by “concern,” I mean “disregard”) for small market teams is, at present, so much in question.
Not to mention StocktonandMalone was created through divine intervention. And not to mention they were drafted by one team and were loyal to that team and each other for two decades. It’s sickening that Stern thinks it’s funny to compare them, and their legacy, and what they meant to the state of Utah, to LBJ and Bosh, who in all likelihood would’ve died playing in the 80s and 90s or been killed by their teammates for their diva attitudes and attention whoring. With Stern at the helm, it’s no wonder the league is in the state of disarray it is in today.

There are not words to express the hatred I have for Stern! My blood runs hot, my face turns read, and I cannot formulate sentences.
He hates the Jazz, he hates small markets, and he stole rings from our Jazz!! Bastard!!
I just can’t believe that he is STILL there! Still!
Sterns was an asshole the day he was hired and his assholiness has done nothing but grow!
Hust watched the playoff games today, he made sure a couple of them are going back for more sell out playoff prices! Though I will admit it’s nice to have a big win to move on at home with your fans.
But none of that can cover his asshole highness!
His ego is completely out of control, there’s no two ways about it.
P.S. Glad to see you still around even though the season is over :)
Moni,
GAWD I’m trying hard as I can to be a good fan.
oh shit poetry surfacing. :)
But I’m old and I expect hard work and victories. This past season took a bunch from me. But I aint dead yet. So, persevere we will, together! Well half a world apart really, but you know what I mean. :)
Sure do know what you mean. Kept waiting and waiting for a “Jerry Sloan team” to show up all season and instead we got the Wolves. I can live with lack of victories if it’s NOT the result of lack of hard work. Hopefully we’ll get both next season. “Stop Jazz” :)
