Game 10 @ CLE: The one that got away
There were good things to take away from this game. The Jazz didn’t just collapse as has been their M.O. when the Cavs built up a big lead early on. They clawed and clawed their way back–which I didn’t know this team was capable of doing. They got my heart working OT for the first time this season. I’ll give credit where credit is due–Boozer played like he wanted to win and with heart, and had a huge 4th quarter (does he have any idea how good he could be if he took it to the hole every time?). And whoever said that Maynor was the most NBA-ready point guard in the draft was spot on. He was rock solid, and didn’t appear to be sucking air despite playing 41 minutes. Maynor didn’t shy away from taking big shots or hesitate to take it to the hole.
The bad news is that at the end of the day, there is no such thing as a moral victory, and I feel exhausted.
