Off Day Odds and Ends
How sweet it is…(and however temporary):
Two weeks ago, I posted about AK’s hot shooting in his first five games back. This is how his shot chart for the five games looked:

(That’s gotta undo the damage, right? Anti-jinx, activate once more.)
Is it at all surprising that when the Jazz’s early team bus left from the hotel for the arena at 9 in the morning, KK2 was one of the only two players on board? (The other was Ronnie P.)

During the Olympics, they talked about one of the games they played against each other and how DWill tried to dunk on Bosh:
“We won the game, of course,” Bosh said, smiling. “It was close because The Colony had a really good team. But we won, and he tried to dunk on me. He’ll probably tell you that he made it, but he didn’t. They called a charge. He just couldn’t pull it off.”
Williams didn’t disagree with the result of the play. “Nah,” he said. “I missed it…[but] I didn’t make a fool out of myself. I barely missed it. They called the charge and the ball hit off the back of the rim. He’s lucky I didn’t catch him with it.” (source)
