“Pulling a Boozer”

I don’t know anything about college hoops so I don’t know whether Coach K pr/t(eaches) defense. But is it at all realistic to hope that Coach K will teach/make Booz play defense this summer?

On the other hand, if Jerry–JERRY–can’t get Booz to play D, I don’t hold much hope for Mike’s chances.

Around the NBA, executives are still asking the same question: Did the Clippers and Brand have a prearranged deal that the power forward turned his back on? No one will ever admit it, but there was an understanding within the Clippers that the opt-out would allow them to bring back Brand and Davis together. 

Several executives still believed, in the words of one Eastern Conference GM, that “Brand had pulled a Boozer.”
