Off-Day Odds and Ends
Sidney Lowe ignoring reporter(s)’ questions as he walks from his “country club home” to the airport taxi
One. So the big news of this off-day is Sidney Lowe’s arrest on “three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file a North Caroline Individual Income Tax Return.” He was released after posting a $10,000 unsecured bond. (WRAL)

The Wake County police might want to readjust its height chart if Sidney Lowe is measuring in at 6’8″.

Three. Al Jefferson is just the best kind of person.

Prentiss native and Utah Jazz center Al Jefferson had seen pictures of the damage in the Hattiesburg area caused by the tornado on Feb. 10, but seeing the damage in person was different story. “It took my breathe away. I’m still kind of amazed just to see all of the damage that was done,” Jefferson said.
Jefferson visit one of the hardest hit areas along Oak Grove Road in Lamar County on Saturday, and he knew he wanted to help out any way that he could. The NBA star visited families who were still cleaning up debris, and he had a special gift for a certain family.
Jefferson is buying a car for a family who’s home and vehicles were destroyed by the tornado. He says it is the least he could do. “If I could just help someone get through this, it would make me feel better, like I did my part, so I’m grateful for that…I’m happy to come and just do what I can.”
Four. Proof positive that NBA players will *literally* buy anything, regardless of degree of ugliness or ridiculousness, as long as it says “Louis Vuitton” on it:
Mo Williams (@mowilliams) also posted these pics of Kevin Murphy today, with the caption “Look at my rook nappy roots. FILA outfit” and “Nappy roots.” This is likely how it starts…and Murphy is probably on his way to the nearest LV store as we speak.
Five. Needs to be said:

Why does Wade have the Peugeot emblem on his chest?
