corbin is a just a clueless coach and now I think management is just as stupid. I give up on Utah. Unless Jefferson were moved and Corbin replaced with….i would hope, jerry sloan…but there a lot of good guys….dave blatt, now elston turner, brian shaw……budenholzer….or college guys, sean miller et al. Something. But i cant keep watching corbin yelling for jefferson to get the ball and letting Kanter sit on the bench. Kanter played ten min. TEN. WHy did you draft him???????????????????? if you dont believe in him, trade him.
I don’t understand Corbins substitutions. Some games he is brilliant getting lineups in that make other teams look like church ball squads and then there are games like tonight. The Lakers played well and we likely would have lost any way, but the game could have been much closer if he switched things around a bit. Kanters strength obviously bothered Howard and he should have gotten more burn. Burks/Foye at the backup point and Hayward at the two should have been tried out. Nash/Duhan have nothing on Burks speed and Hayward is always able to contain and bother Kobe.
Watson is just unable to play ball any more IMO. Those three turnovers in a row made me facepalm so hard.
The worst decision in my opinion was putting Foye and Burks on Kobe. Stick them at backup point and put Hayward or DeMarre on Kobe and it might have been a different ballgame.
