I am so disgusted with Corbin. Hayward was 0 for 5….ok….but playing him only fifteen min? Was there a reason, was he hurt? I didnt see too much of the game. Foye is an awful player, and when someone plays defense that poorly you wont win. Period. He is not a starting caliber player. Corbin is clueless. Kanter only 13 min? I mean the whole offense is now Jefferson and Foye. PATHETIC:
I really don’t think this was Foye’s fault. When we let things get out of hand early, it was Kanter with 2 TOs, Earl with another, Al missing everything, Mo playing poorly, everyone not playing as hard as the Suns and kind of disinterested.
Harpring said early this was a trap game because the Jazz had just gotten a few good wins and had Memphis back home today. Now even Ty says “the fortunate thing is we play again tomorrow night” and it really looks like the losing mindset yesterday was impregnated on the whole Jazz crew…
the problem is an offense that runs through Jefferson….and secondly Foye. Its just a recipe to beat lousy teams and lose to good ones. Its not an effort to create an elite team. Its coveryourass offense by a worried inexperienced coach. Arguably Hayward and Favors are the two biggest talents on this team. I would argue that anyway. Kanter needs to be give space to make a couple turnovers without being benched. This isnt Junior high school. Its a mediocre looking team, AGAIN. If thats what one wants, great. You’ve got it. But the talent is on this roster for much more.

It’s funny, my impression of the Jazz is a team that only gets up for good teams and tends to lose to the lousy ones.
Absolutely on it that Corbin coaches scared despite having basically the entire front office and kfan guys working as his personal p.r. team. Either that or he’s simply not a good coach at this level. I dont believe the team will ever be much more under him than what we’re seeing right now. Unprepared for road games/bad teams, poor to none play calling, and getting wins bc of our talent not coaching.
Just to be clear, I’m not overreacting to a bad loss. Think this way all the time and I was frustrated by the Jazz giving him that extension.
