Game 11 at Jazz at Wizards: See, the thing is…
I just don’t believe the Jazz are this bad. I don’t believe they are this lacking in fight and motivation and desire to win, as a whole, as a team, that I can say, “A win is a win and I’ll take it.” I can’t get excited about the Jazz barely scraping out a win against a winless team. So yeah, the Jazz won, but it felt like the opposite of winning to me.
** Gordon Hayward on coming off the bench: The thing that’s good about when I come in the second unit is I get a little more touches. I’m able to get the ball in my hands a little bit more.
** Derrick Favors on whether he prefers starting or coming off the bench: Doesn’t matter to me. It’s all basketball, so it doesn’t matter to me.

** Wizards commentator: Favors is very big going inside. (H/T @Mac_Jazz)
** Steve Brown: Vesely out front, there’s the penetration.
** Harpring: When you’re a perimeter defender, knowing you have someone behind you, that can help you out…you can get up and guard harder, closer, knowing if you get beat, Favors is gonna be there to help you out.
** Harpring: I gotta credit Coach Corbin for trying different things. Things have not been working on the road, so he’s been trying different lineups, different guys in different places.
** Harpring on DeMarre Carroll: He goes hard, every minute of practice.
** Harpring on Hayward: That one looked like it was right in rhythm, it looked good right when he released.
** Harpring: Coach Corbin is sending a message to his players. “Hey, we’re not waiting around for you to get going. If you’re not going when I put you in, we’re going to keep trying different people.”
** Brown: Foye finishes.
** Harpring on Emeka Okafor: He waited for Favors to come down.
** Big Al on the win, post-game: I’ll take it any way I can get it.
