Favors on doing the Junior Jazz tour:

It’s good, ’cause I don’t want people to think that I’m a big-headed person just because I’m in the NBA. [Because] you can make a lot of money or whatever, they think you a big-headed person, [that] you too big time to do stuff like this. So I just try to do whatever I can. (KUTV)

More Favors:
** On how he felt he did on the Select Team against the Olympic team: I think I played pretty good against them, as far as on the offensive end and defensive end. I think I fit in pretty good with them.
** On importance of starting this season: It’s not that important. I’d rather play more. If I play more coming off the bench, I’d love to do that. I just want to play more.
** On the “big” lineup [Favors-Al Jefferson-Paul Millsap] that closed the season: I loved that. I mean, as you know, Paul and Al, they both great players. They can score. I was just out there to do all the dirty work. So I enjoyed it. I enjoyed being out there.
** How many minutes would you like to play? I would like to play 30, 35, 40, the whole game, basically. (laughs) Just gotta wait and see what happens.
** How do you feel about your defensive game? I feel like I’m one of the top defensive players in the league right now, ’cause I take that much pride in my defense.
** Favorite aspect of the game: It’s really stopping my opponents from scoring. I can score on people, but I take pride in stopping people scoring on me.
