Utah Jazz Gone Fishin’ 2012 (and 2011)

May 16, 2012

TNT’s “Gone Fishing” pics for the Jazz have gone completely downhill in the past few years. Last year’s was a horrid sight (Deron pushing Jerry off the boat), but induces a horrified laugh. This year’s was just plain uninspired and was probably Photoshopped by an intern during his five-minute lunch break:

So, here’s mine (originally posted at SLC Dunk; click to enlarge):

And here’s the one I did last year, since I don’t have much else to post right now (click to enlarge):

Haha the “It is what it is” from last year’s has taken on a whole new meaning for me.

Haha, some people were like, “You forgot Ty” and I was like, “No, I didn’t.”

When I saw the picture from last season I thought “there’s no way she can do it any better than this”. It turned out I was wrong. Thanks for being awesome. :)

I am seriously floored! You sent the season off in the most perfect manner; you captured the essence of this season and each element of the team. Raja and CJ on the sinking ship, the kiddie pool and Gordons floaties… I love last years and laughed with joy and pain at this years picture. Thank you for blogging!

ps I still love AK’s hair, especially in his MVP pics.

Thanks, Jazzy Girl (it’s how I still think of you even though you changed your name :) ) Your comments are always so appreciated!

“ps I still love AK’s hair, especially in his MVP pics.” — this (specifically the MVP part), we can agree on haha.

BTS and Al in last year’s … I still laugh every time I think about that. Pure brilliance.
