Game 36 at DAL: Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme

March 4, 2012

At one point in the game, Matt Harpring said, “The Jazz are doing a nice job just hangin’ in there.” That pretty much sums it up. Ain’t nothin’ we ain’t ever seen before.

14 TOs to 13 assists to 10 steals for the Jazz. 40 points on 14-21 shooting for Dirk.

Unintentional Dirty Quote Machines of the Night (UDQM)
** Harpring: Tight rim.
** Harpring on Dirk: He’s checking his hand. Although that’s his left hand.
** Harpring: Big Al’s got the hot hand early.
** Harpring on Favors: He’s going to be dominant when he gets his whole package together.
** Boler: Marion gave Howard a hard high one. (H/T @Mac_Jazz)
** Boler on Burks: Ooooh up high and the tip in!
** Boler on Dirk three-pointer: Marion penetrates and there’s a long rainbow.
** Harpring on Dirk: He doesn’t like to bend over.
** Boler: Favors, working hard inside.

It bugs me so badly when players on a sad bench put their shirts in their mouths.

I have students that try to do it when they’re upset. It’s not allowed, and I don’t put up with it. Stay alert, keep your head up, learn from mistakes, and be happy.

    That’s my rule.
