vs. min: Opponent Game Thread Highlights
Today’s Opponent Game Thread host: Canis Hoopus.
IMO, most entertaining opponent game thread in a long time.
CJ Miles iz a certified Wolves killer
hate playin him
by MAYNHOLUP on Mar 17, 2011 9:15 AM CSTAny guard with speedness and fastness
is a Wolves killer.
by JMGrady on Mar 17, 2011 9:17 AM CSTUtah isn’t winning any beauty contests
with Kirilenko and Fesenko on the floor together.
At least they were able to trade D-Will’s hair
by Jerwol on Mar 17, 2011 9:23 AM CSTCan we start a movement
to call Rambis ‘Zen’ from here on out? Obviously, the goal is to mock the living shit out of him until he stops pretending to be Phil and also stops pretending that Phil would be Phil without Jordan/Pippen and Bryant/Shaq/Gasol.
by Mplax on Mar 17, 2011 10:17 AM CSTWhere Canis Hoopus sounds like SLC Dunk:
Wolves trying to 3 ball their way back into this game.
That’s not a viable plan.
by Dogpile on Mar 17, 2011 9:49 AM CSTThe Wolves can’t hit anything, so they keep taking long jumpshots.
by RCollin on Mar 17, 2011 9:50 AM CSTWell
I’m glad the recent Wolves play has disabused us of any notions that they have progressed at all over this season. The only silver lining: Rambis can’t last much longer. He just can’t, can he?
by uncle rico on Mar 17, 2011 9:56 AM CST
Just woke up…who is guarding C.J.?
by TimAllen on Mar 17, 2011 9:57 AM CSTMartell attempted to
by DukePettyjohn on Mar 17, 2011 9:57 AM CSTRambis
by Mplax on Mar 17, 2011 9:57 AM CSTNo one.
by JMGrady on Mar 17, 2011 9:57 AM CSTcan we suit up Rambis and Laimbeer for the second half?
by bargnani on Mar 17, 2011 9:58 AM CSTI read this as
“can we sue Rambis and Laimbeer” and I would endorse that. Intentional infliction of emotional distress. Darko and Flynn as co-defendants.
by Eric in Madison on Mar 17, 2011 10:10 AM CSTOh, I think a particularly pesky lawyer
could round up a class action against a team that has no Ricky Rubio next year, despite proclamations from the POBO to current and prospective season ticket buyers that Rubio would indeed be on the team.
It might not go anywhere, but the discovery would be delicious.
by PoorDick on Mar 17, 2011 10:14 AM CSTCJ Miles has chubby arms
by J_R_W on Mar 17, 2011 9:59 AM CST
And where Canis Hoopus does not sound like SLC Dunk:
That Axe commercial was more interesting then this game
by Legac on Mar 17, 2011 10:03 AM CSTto be fair….its a great commercial!
by Love4MVP on Mar 17, 2011 10:04 AM CSTI agree, it’s probably the best one they have had.
by Legac on Mar 17, 2011 10:05 AM CSTMaybe they’ll add more windows!
Of opportunity.
by Dogpile on Mar 17, 2011 10:06 AM CSTWouldn’t mind if they added a few doors…
that they could show Rambis and Kahn out of…
by SoDakHmr on Mar 17, 2011 10:07 AM CSTThey say it’s a game of
running… or runs… or something like that.
Maybe the Wolves should stop jogging…
by Mplax on Mar 17, 2011 10:40 AM CSTsomeone put that screaming mormon out of his/her misery
by illwafer on Mar 17, 2011 10:47 AM CST
I don’t understand
why Love and AR don’t switch on defense. Love/Jefferson and AR/AK would be much better matchups, IMO.
Maybe Jefferson just has Love’s number from being the ‘guy’ over him for those two years?
by Mplax on Mar 17, 2011 11:01 AM CSTAR cannot guard Al
And Love cannot guard AK. Why are their defensive assignments not reversed? It makes no sense at all. Great coaching that!
by Victor Mature on Mar 17, 2011 11:01 AM CSTExpecting rationalityor reason from our defensive matchups
is a mistake, of course.
by JMGrady on Mar 17, 2011 11:03 AM CSTcan we please add another renovation to the twolves locker room….doors should only be 7 feet tall, that way darko won’t be able to get in!!!!!!!
by coolminnesota on Mar 17, 2011 11:06 AM CSTThe TWolves
from 0 to -30 in 18 seconds.
by uncle rico on Mar 17, 2011 11:12 AM CSTJazz did an ok job
of not running up the score at the end. It was nice to see a team take their time and run the clock down at least a little. We didn’t really help the cause, but the Jazz weren’t out there to embarass us like some teams seem to do (Memphis springs to mind this year).
by Mplax on Mar 17, 2011 11:23 AM CSTdoes anyone else find Andrei Kirilenko fascinating to look at???
by Legac on Mar 17, 2011 11:33 AM CST
I’m surprised you didn’t post a response to the final post in the Minn. GT.
too much trouble to sign up for the site just to type one word: haircut.
