Q: [Re alley oops with Jeremy Evans] Is this something you guys have been working on in practice?
Earl: Never worked on it in practice, ever.
Q: How would you describe your relationship with Evans this season?
Earl: Relationship as far as what?
Q: Just your connection that you guys have.
Earl: We don’t really have a connection. He has a girlfriend.
[Everyone cracks up, including me.]
Q: Is there going to be an Evans to Watson alley-oop?
Earl: You know what? I think he’d be too nervous to pass that. If he did pass that I definitely would catch it and dunk it. Jeremy’s like a younger brother of mine. Jeremy’s a guy that I talk to throughout the season, he and Gordon. They sit by me on the bus in close enough vicinity, but relationship-wise, we’re just teammates. (KFAN audio)
