vs. noh: Opponent Game Thread Highlights
Today’s Opponent Game Thread host: At the Hive.
The Jazz played two games against the Hornets last season after I started doing opponent game thread posts. At the Hive’s game threads for those games consisted of, respectively, 7 and 0 comments. For those games, I pulled highlights from a game thread and a sort of related thread from Hornets Report. Went back this time as well, so today, two for the price of one.

Just annoy the hell out of me. Because they should beat teams like the Clippers and if they would then losses like this at Utah wouldn’t look as bad. They just can’t make a run. And Utah ALWAYS beats them. And it annoys the hell out of me because they’re NOT that talented!! They’re good but they’re not greaet. They shouldn’t continue to be able to toy with them.

Hornets Report Game Thread Highlights:
It will be interesting to see Jack and CP playing against D. Will. I think Monty plays them both and keeps Jack on D. Will while CP guards the SG.

You might think we need to beat the celtics and lakers to prove we can beat the best but we have a better record vs those two than we do the jazz over the same span. Thankfully we are not coming off of a back to back.

I said this a few weeks ago before we went on our streak so it isn’t like I am preaching the sky is falling, or joining an angry mob. I think we will bounce back, but these games hurt more than others because unlike the Lakers and Celtics we can’t seem to beat the Jazz and they are the team we will need to beat to open the door to advancing in the playoffs.
If we don’t beat the Jazz, or we even go 1-3 we will not make the wcf’s.

Wow. These guys are as bad as Houston fans. The comment about our bench being weak is hilarious. Who do the Hornets have on their bench? Thornton, who makes CJ seem like the model of efficiency and consistency?
Also, drop the bit about our “colors” and our “logos”. The New Orleans Jazz existed for around 2 years. Our Jazz has been around for almost 30. At this point no one thinks of New Orleans when you say Jazz in the context of the NBA.
check out the latest one (lakers)…NO and Houston might be bad, but lakers fans are in a class of their own.
