The Curse of ’08-’09 Continues…
CJ is heading home for thumb surgery and he’s going to be out around two months. The police need to question Derrick Rose on his whereabouts when the injury occurred. (In related news, Fes has a sprained heel, KK has an inflamed knee, AK’s thigh is wrapped up, and DWill is wearing a knee brace.) This has got to suck for CJ after the work he put in this summer and how excited he was to see Europe.
In more related news, I was flipping through the paper this morning and had a “what the…” moment when I read that the Nuggets/Pacers exhibition game entourage is 300-strong. Shortly afterwards I read in the desnews (online, obviously) that the NBA is footing the bill for exhibition games abroad. Now I know why every Nugget and Pacer brought 8-10 family members and neighbors along for the ride.
