Summer League and Transactions
It’s come to this–I am in such ”can’t wait” mode waiting for the season to start that I planned my morning around the first Jazz game of the Rocky Mountain Revue (which NBA.com refers to as “Rocky Mountain Review”). Despite the constantly freezing video and maddening buffering every few seconds, it was SO much better than nothing. As an added bonus, they had DWill commentating (well, talking anyway) alongside Hot Rod and Boler during the first half. DWill’s comments about KK’s popularity with Utah women were pretty funny…they also interviewed Greek/American KK’s mom and grandma.
Game Recap: The Jazz can’t beat the Spurs, even in the summer league. No one on the Jazz roster was looking particularly good. That’s about it.
In Jazz news, DWill will be in a Jazz uni for at least four more seasons (whoo hoo!) and CJ is gone (I just don’t see the Jazz matching the-team-formerly-known-as-Sonics’–imo–overpriced offer).
Two more weeks til my date with DWill and AK in Shanghai…
