USA and Playoffs Odds and Ends

When do jerseys go on sale?
————————————-
Things Deadspin learned during the Playoffs:
–Playing against the Utah Jazz is like trying to crawl headfirst through a wood chipper.
–Carlos Boozer, as it turns out, is very < Karl Malone.
I always find it funny when analysts people that don’t watch m(any) Jazz games talk about how tough the Jazz are defensively. In truth, this reputation stems entirely from the identity of the man on the bench, Coach Jerry Badass Sloan [if you DO watch many Jazz games, say it with me now: the longest tenured coach in all of professional sports]. In fact, I often wonder how this team can be so soft defensively when Jerry is the coach.
Similarly, only 1) those that watch one or two Jazz games during the season; 2) fantasy basketball players whose entire knowledge of the NBA is gleaned from box scores would think that Carlos is on par with Karl.
